The water is crystal clear, fairly shallow and almost always calm. There are Parasailing Boats, Glass Bottom Boats, Sailboats, and fun things to ride that are pulled behind boats. You'll find many bars and restaurants right on the beach. Souvenir shops with towels, bags, as well as jewelry and craft items. You can be as busy or as quiet as you like.
If you go to the beach right at One Mile access you will find parking. That where Drifter's Bar (in Season from Nov-Apr) you'll find live music in the afternoons from 3:00-7:00pm at least 3-4 time a week. It's a fun bar with tables and benches. Know there will always be great entertainment with music and dancing. Jean has a small take out restaurant just across from Drifter's and there is a bar there as well.
A little further on, just at the beach, Big John will always have Cold beer and drinks!. Maxine has towels, bags and a souvenir shop. She'll have food prepared... Her Key Lime Pie is to die for and she will also have hot food as well.
You'll find towels and souvenirs galore. Whitey has some beach chairs for rent and you will feel right at home.
Negril Beachside is a small guest house located on the beach side of the road and right next door to a Convenience Store. The side gate from Negril Beachside enters right into the right a way and just steps from the beach. It is very convenient to the beach as well as shopping, Jerk Kingz and local restaurants.
