Long Bay Beach Negril Jamaica
Long Bay Beach Negril Jamaica is a wonderful place to spend the day. It's what Negril was like some 40 years ago before all the hotels and hub bub. When Negril first started it was a place for hippies of the 60's and 70"s.

Just look for the sign (Long Bay Beach Park). There is a parking lot and entrance fee is 150JA or about $1.00USD. The beach is wide and white. Water is clear and inviting. What is nice is there are facilities there. The park provides Restrooms, showers and cement tables and benches.
It is a very quiet and peaceful area.
My friend and I had a great day at this beach. We arrived about 11am, during the week, and almost no one was around. Visitors from the all-inclusive to our West were walking the beach, but otherwise we were swimming alone.
As the day progressed, Jamaican families joined us at the park. Some just used the tables and benches, but one family brought food for a picnic to celebrate a child's birthday.
I loved this beach and will most assuredly go back!
